Grime Busters
Keep those netted bags citrus comes in and place all your soap slivers in the bag. (You know, those little scraps of soap that are too small to assume you will make it through a shower; the ones most people throw away.) Cut off the paper end of the netted nag, and tie it off. Add your soap and tie the other end. Hang the netted bag off the laundry room, mudroom, or garage wash-up sink, using either a wire hook made from an old wire coat hanger, or just tie one end to the faucet handle. You will not only save money and the environment, but also help scrub those extra dirty hands clean. Simple, economical, and you are recycling in a creative and useful way!
The ole’ Scottish heritage is kicking in again, so keep watching for more money saving hints for around the house.
I LOVE this idea. I have used SOS pads on my hands before–this probably works better. Not to mention, I always hate getting rid of the last bit of soap!
Thanks for the idea–I have similar at my blog, check it out if you like.
