earth-11015_640It becomes ever clearer as time goes by of the need to have reverence and respect for Mother Earth; we have taken her for granted for far too long. But it is equally important to mention how healing ourselves also heals the energy of the universe.

Healing the many wounds that environment, society, and guilt have created within us appears to not be easy, but the blessed thing is, nature teaches us it can be simple. We only need to slow down enough to see, think, feel, hear, smell, and taste life’s glory, to know we do not really need much to have inner peace, and be genuinely happy no matter what life throws at you.

These are some of the lessons that the quarantine has taught me. My hope is whether we go back to restrictions and quarantines again or not, you can find a way to a more simplistic life which, offers inner peace and healing for your soul.

Does this mean we should all give everything up and take off for the north woods? No, in fact, if we did, we would end up creating the same thing we were running away fromThe secret is not to run away from things but to run to them, from the inside out (I saw that on a tea bag!)

When was the last time you truly looked at a leaf and saw the simple beauty and the complexity of it all? Are you like the leaf, splendid, ever changing; yet constantly growing and absorbing the abundance life has to offer or, are you stuck in the fall or winter seasons, hibernating- appearing dead but still existing?

The wisdom of the trees shows us that although they must go up against the weather, insects, man, and the messed-up environment with its dirty air and water, they still somehow stay strong, continuing year after year. We too have trails and crap thrown at us, whether it is from negative people, or life’s situations.

We need nourishment daily, so we can stand strong and use our resources and gifts; we find this in nurturing our bodies with healthy, organic foods, exercise, and quiet observation, listening to nature and our inner guidance from the Wise Voice Within. In essence -and truly the key to al is, being present and welcoming every moment.

IMG_0090Trees do not need much to grow and flourish, and neither do we, if we keep it simple, we too can flourish and stand strong for many years and help create new offshoots that will continue to give joy, beauty, and life to our world. By nurturing yourself as well as all aspects of nature, we all benefit; helping spread love and positive energy throughout the planet and the universe.

“Just be” became a cliché yet, there is so much truth to those simple words and they are needed now more then ever. It’s a term to remind you to live like the animals in the present moment. They do not worry about the future or the past. Have you ever seen a flower worry, a tree think about the past, or a bird chirp about the future? Sounds silly, and it is when you think about how we waste so much of the only moments we have worrying about what has past or what has not yet happened.blooms-4882981_640

Just be is an attitude of stillness and simplicity which naturally takes you to a more economical way of life and healthier living, quite a nice way to live actually. This doesn’t mean we have to live as paupers; we wisely use our resources, following the model of how birds and animals live. It also does not mean we have to go off to live in the forest, far in the mountains or, be an organic farmer (although that’s okay too). It is simplicity, quiet, listening, observing and getting to really know who you are so you can follow your dreams and be.It is self-love – trusting within and DSC_1455honoring your values.

So here are some “Just Be” points of light to live by- inspired by the animals and nature in general.

Just be Free

Free of “I can’t” thoughts and negativity. Free to be creative and expressive. Free of doubt and fear. Reminding yourself you are only in and have this moment and then one more moment and one more and one more…

Just be In Love

Whether it’s with someone else, an animal, nature or life but always remember to be in love with yourself; otherwise you have nothing to give anyone else.heart-700141_640Just be Caring & Sharing

Caring for our beautiful planet and all those on it shows reverence. Put forth positive energy to others even if you disagree with their message and actions. This sends more positivity out in the world and comes back to you. You care by blessing someone who hates with a silent thought of love; you send healing out to the world with a deliberate inner feeling of health- emotional and spiritual. You further share with the simplicity of a smile and a kind thought or word to another person. Care for the animals by respecting how you treat the earth and never intentionally doing harm.

Just be Abundant

Abundant thinking brings abundance. That works both ways, positively and negatively. Abundance is not just how much money comes to us but how much energy we put into anything. If we have strong and constant thoughts of how we don’t have enough (of anything) we bring more of that too us. Nature is always abundant. Get out and look at a bird, it loses a feather and still flies because it knows it has just the right amount of feathers it needs at all times.

Be free, loving, caring and sharing and abundant and see how much easier your life flows. Will you have issues and situations you don’t like? Sure, but so does nature and yet it knows it has what it needs to continue living and just being.
